Summary

This bill establishes standards which must be met before an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Centre receives federal funding. There is a clause in this bill which exempts Quebec. Much of the re-writing in this bill deals with First Nations and Inuit ECE centres.

This bill also establishes an advisory council for ECE reporting to the Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development.
